Source material is 480p upconverted to 720p ED (960-by-720 not 1280-by-720). 
The original series was aired in 480p ED so there is no true 720p HD copy. However this is as close as you can get to it and it looks very crisp, no sign of upconversion.


Description:
When the hostile Fire Nation threatens to enslave the Water, Earth, and Air Nations, a reluctant and irresponsible boy must face his destiny as the Avatar, the Chosen One who can restore the world order. My take:
Was here for this series since the beginning and I loved it. Nostalgia feels. This is one of the, if not, the greatest Nickelodeon anime TV shows of all time! That's how much I love it. Recommend giving this one a good three-four day sitting and just straight watching and munching :) Enjoy!
